Foam Filled Fender The use of memory foams for the fender core, which have high compressive strengths, results in an ability to absorb a great deal of energy during marine operations. This is complemented by low reaction forces, making berthing operations easier – especially in difficult conditions.Users also gain peace of mind from knowing that the closed cell structure of the foams used means that these fenders are virtually unsinkable and will keep functioning – even if damaged beyond viable repair. The design of the foam-filled Fender is highly resistant to environmental hazards such as extreme temperatures, hydrocarbons, fresh and salt water, ozone and ultraviolet radiation. The fender skin is even resistant to chemicals such as diesel fuels. Additionally, since the internal construction consists of a solid heat laminated foam core, there is no need to maintain air pressure, inflation or relief values, as with pneumatic fenders.

The Ocean Foam fenders are constructed of three parts each providing an important function in the construction and lifespan of the fender. The three parts are foam core, outer Nylon cord fabrics and polyurea spraying coating.
1.Foam Core
The closed cell polyurethane foam core used inside offers un-sink ability during operation.
2.Outer Nylon Cord Fabrics
The outer nylon cord fabrics is specifically designed to seal polyurethane foam inside and prevent any leakage.
3. Polyurea Spraying Coating

1. Wharf and ship use fender
(1) Applicable for gravity type (abutment) wharf, in particular, wharf with large tide range;
(2) Floating Fender is an ideal choice for ship to ship berthing.
(3) When typhoon comes, ships can not leave away from wharf, then large-scale floating fender will present prominent advantage in emergency measures taking.
(4) In case of ship bump accident, as wharf protection equipment, floating fender can start working urgently if other wharf protection settings (e.g.fixed Rubber Fender) are damaged to reduce stop-production loss to the smallest.
